Clearing your Browser cache

Internet Explorer 6

  1. From the 'Tools' menu choose 'Internet Options...'

  2. In the 'Internet Options' window click the 'Delete Files...' button

  3. In the 'Delete Files' dialog box, click the 'OK' button, then click the 'OK' button in the 'Internet Options' window

Internet Explorer 7

  1. From the 'Tools' menu, select 'Delete Browsing History...'

  2. In the 'Delete Browsing History' window, click the 'Delete files...' button

  3. In the 'Delete Files' dialog box, click the 'Yes' button, then click the 'Close' button in the 'Delete Browsing History' window

Internet Explorer 8

  1. From the 'Safety' menu select 'Delete browsing history...'

  2. In the 'Delete Browsing History' dialog box, tick only 'Preserve Favourites website data' and 'Temporary Internet Files' then click 'Delete'.

Internet Explorer 9

  1. From the 'Tools' menu (gear icon) select 'Safety > Delete browsing history...'

  2. In the 'Delete Browsing History' dialog box, tick only 'Preserve Favourites website data' and 'Temporary Internet Files' then click 'Delete'.

Firefox 3+ (Windows)

  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu, and select Options....
  2. Select the Advanced panel.
  3. Click on the Network tab

  4. In the Offline Storage section, click Clear Now.
  5. Click OK to close the Options window

Firefox 3+ (OS X)

  1. On the menu bar, click on the Firefox menu, and select Preferences....
  2. Select the Advanced panel.
  3. Click on the Network tab

  4. In the Offline Storage section, click Clear Now.
  5. Close the Preferences window

Safari 2.0 + (OS X)

  1. Look at the top of the screen. Click on the word "Safari" in the top menu items.
  2. A list of choices will appear.
  3. Click on "Preferences."
  4. Click on "Empty Cache."
  5. A little box will pop up asking if you are sure you want to empty your cache.
  6. Click "Empty."
  7. To make sure your cache is clear, close/quit your web browser and then launch it again.
